These guys are Hyperions dealers and they show two diff 0606 chargers. Its confusing, I had to look twice, but the chargers don't look that much alike. teh AC/DC has a bigger footprint and the DC looks more like a field type charger.

I have both the Pulsar 3 and the Checkpoint 1030. Either one is good, but I prefer the Pulsar 3 because of it's easy menus.

I've been using the MRC Super Brain 989 all season long to charge 2 Orion 3600 LiPos, 2 SMC 5000 LiPos and a TrakPower 4800 saddle pack LiPo and I haven't had a single issue with the charger. I race 4 classes just about every weekend and practice 2-3 times a week by the way, so the charger has gotten tons of use.
For the $140-$150 it costs, you also get a decent AC-DC power supply that has also been trouble-free for me this whole season. I'll be racing 5-6 classes next season, so I plan on adding the Hyperion 610i Duo to my arsenal, but the SB 989 will still see plenty of use.
Best of luck in your search for a charger.

The difference in the Hyperion chargers is the maximum wattage. The AC/DC model maxes out at 50W. This should be fine for smaller capacity packs or if you only use 2S packs. The EOS 0606i Net has a 250W max and the Duo is 180W + 180W (two channels so you can charge two packs at once up to 6S or you can link the channnels to charge a single 12S pack). If you are looking to charge large capacity high cell count packs (such as a 4S or 5S 4000mah + packs) then the 50W will not cut it (unless you don't mind waiting a few hours to charge your packs...LOL ).
Personally I had the 0606i Net but sold it to get the 0606i Duo charger. They both ROCK!
Best regards,

For the last couple years the only Nicd cells I own are for glow igniters. All my batteries are lipo. These include TX, RX, starter box, two Maxamps for 1/10 racing. I've only used the ICE chargers and they are working just fine. In the future I'm sure I'll have a 1/8 electric vehicle and then I'll need to step up to a larger capacity charger for a 4s or 5s battery. Until then the ICE's will work their magic. So there's no reason they won't work with 100% LiPo and 100% brushless---unless the O.P. is considering 1/8 or MT vehicles.
