Verry interesting. Looks like they've done their homework too with motor offerings in 2100, 1700, 1300. We're talking 4S to 6S here.

Med September ETA. Hmmm. Let's see if they've learned anything from Castle and Tekin in pre-mature announcements

If you haven't noticed, their ESC is said to be capable of only 3-5S Lipos, not 6S.

You're right - I was speaking more in terms of the motors rather than the ESC. I'm currently running a Tekno Neu 1515 3D (1360kv) on 6S in an 8ight T. It would be interesting to see how the Losi 1300kv compares in the same vehicle.

That is correct, the ESC accepts up to 5S, with all of our testing we have found that 4S is the best all around battery to use.

Is there going to be whole factory electric 8ight/8ight-T kits/rollers/RTRs?

Losi should announce their future 8Ight-e...if not I just might buy this instead:

from www.casterracingusa.com

But if I knew of the 8ight-e release date then I would likely wait for it. There would be no loss on Losi's part if they announced it because they currently have no internal competing 1/8-electric products.

I`m just guessing but I think if they have one it will be released after the worlds or at the hobby show .

Yeah, im running a 2050KV motor in my E-8ight and running it off 5S. I could of ran on 4S and geared it up abit but couldn't resist the longer run time with the 5S (40 minutes racing).
