You know i didn't ask that question. That didn't cross my mind i was just Glad we were on of the shops able to buy it as a Race Roller.

Maybe they don't see it as a huge market for them.(YET)
Maybe it is just a fealer to see how the rc public responds to the buggy.
It is not cheap your looking at a street price of around 750.00 for the exact one that in coming to the shop.
Now i know you would have that much in building one.But there is a lot of people that doesn't mind to spend that kind of money just not all at once.

I don't know for fact these are just some guesses

any news on how much the complete brushless converted kit would be
$750 is ok but if it is more it will be a tough buy
I asked a losi dealer and he said $750 is less than the cost they paid for it, they will only have 3 complete kits and will be arriving mid sept
dont know, just keeping my fingers crossed that it will not cost an arm and a leg

well i have one backorderd through my hobbyshop, the price is 850.00ish should be here at the end of sept. horizon will only allow a shop 1 kit and the shop has to have sold so many 8ight kits from augest to augest. the kit doesnt have a part no. and dont know if it will. 850.00 kinda made me choke but if i peiced the roller/conversion kit/ motor/esc it would be about 100.00 more.

Still cheaper than a nitro with a GOOD motor & pipe (& throttle servo & RX pack, etc, etc).

oooohhhh ya i raced nitro for 4 years and that is just a never ending money pit. plus constant engine tuning, i just started racing 10th scale 4x4 this year running lipo/brushless combo and i must say my wallet is fatter, racing is fun again and i dont burn up near as many tires. the best part of electric is the 99% less stress at races having enough time to clean and change setup or what ever. oh and nitro fuel prices? 40.00 per gallon uhhh ya electric is the future.

Dang, where was all this stuff 3 months ago? I could've saved a few bucks!

Does anybody have the exact measurements for the 4s battery? Curious to see if It'll fit in my battery tray. I've already tossed a battery out of my car due to a Gorilla strap breaking!

It makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL for Losi to put out a press release for this car IF theres only going to be MAYBE one per lhs. That pretty much makes the car UNOBTAINABLE for 99.99% of anyone interested. Trust me, IF they sell Losi will put out loads of them.

I am hoping these sell like hot cakes even though I run an AE conversion. Get more guys out there with brushless vehicles and we have a class to run this year for the winter.

If you know guys in MN area that are thinking about 1/8 electric, tell them to checkout the MN thread about winter racing. We may get a class for these afterall if there is enough turnout.

I think this is going to be the car that gets this genre to take off. All of those parts on it look like they fit perfectly, well balanced, and were well thought out. I've been on the fence about getting one of these previously because of the fact you had round up a bunch of aftermarket parts with so-so fitting. You're not going to get a factory fit and finish unless you buy factory parts like these. I just wish the truggy would come out at the same time. Why are truggies always second in line for everything? I was thinking about buying a new T and selling all of the nitro parts, but mark my words, the market is about to be FLOODED with 8ight fuel tanks and clutches etc.

I think that Losi will really help get this rolling. With the Caster Fusion and the Losi 8E and the conversion kits this should be big soon.
