I will try these latest bk bar knock off's, We normally run bars at our track. The barcodes are ok.. when it's dry. Not to impressive. Maybe pro line nailed it ?

Your right, I didn't see that, the center bar looks to be two side by side. Almost like how the Panther K1 and K2(in comparison of the losi and proline version of the bar or what ever they will be called) are the same tire but the inside and outside half is rotated to line up the ceter row to make 1 solid wider pin.

Here is a pic of the JC bar code and a pic of the BK Bar...............the red lines on the BK Bar indicate where the Prolines I saw at the Nats had the bar extended inwards. The green lines show how the BK Bars points dont line up straight across the tire. The Proline versions lined up straight across.

Default The real scoop

Hey guys BK here...thanks for all the kind words...really cool..
anyway,,what proline did was make the first tire exactly like a BK bar...that way they could work on making a better compound than red for bluegroove tracks...Once we found that, we rotated the mold so it would have more forward bite..."You can never have to much forward bite"...LOL...and then they made a 3rd version which looks pretty different...and so far so good...all the testing we have done...at SRS,Hotrod, and Competition hobbies...the tires were better at all 3 tracks no matter who tested them...myself and Pudge and at lest 5 or 6 other guys..
So far so good...im happy..

Started reading this thread, I thought, "Proline just stole BK's ideas with no credit given" etc etc.

But no, BK is doing the development work!

Humbled..

Still have the RC/Car mag with the pic in your report from Rauna in Finland '99where you made the original set, amazing BK!

Good to finally see some development work going on tyres now after years of nothing changing (Holeshots/Tapers/BkBars/X2000 at every race), maybe it took JConcepts to enter the market to get the ball rolling again??
