Mark, should be an awesome day on sunday. Myself and John gonna be racing down at Doug's this saturday. Trying to stay a bit closer to home since the baby is almost here.

Hope to make the trophy race up there. Good luck with the bumping up!!

I saw Mike O. today. He stopped in at Monocacy Grove Raceway today with a blown throttle servo. I called HT in Frederck to see if they had anything. He drove over and picked one up, and went on to burn a few bottles of fuel. It was alot of fun. We battled it out for a few tanks. With that said, be glad we didn't show up today. You wouldn't of stood a chance.

On another note, I burned a 1/2 gallon of fuel through the Sirio today and still no unexpected flameouts. That's about 4 gallons now. It lacks bottom but I think that's due to clutch springs being weak. Were is this so called flameout issues everyone keeps saying they have???

yeah Greg where are those unexpected flame outs
You know what it is.
its saving all its problems for VA Beach
You must be doing somthing right because that serio has power when it runs right
man i still had tons of fun today just bashing
my engine was running sweet and getting 8 plus on a tank

What knuckle did you break, R or L? i should have one for you if you don't get one yourself before VB.

where did you guys run your cars at?

yeah mike decided he couldnt hang in there and left early

anthony wilkins was the TQ and would have put a serious hurting on us in the main but had some problem

i was able to win again luckily

madmarko showed up in the nick of time to run the mains had some problems early on then came back on the final lap to get second place

so much for me being able to put some room between him and me in the points series

i dont think i will be racing next weekend my wife hasnt said anything yet but since i will be out of town the following weekend for VA beach it may be best if i let her do what she wants next weekend

my maintenance paid off i think i felt like my buggy was alot more planted today then it has been the past few races

not that i had any traction but it seemed to not bounce around as much

plus i think it may be best if i just take my time to prepare for the VA beach race for now

i look forward to seeing you ther greg since you pretty much took this year off

i also heard from doug that VA beach has a trophy race scheduled for the first weekend in december maybe we can stretch the season almost the entire year

i absolutely love the weather we had this weekend really a whole lot easier than those nearly 100F days

and the reason that sirio engine doesnt have the stalling problem is because you have a novarossi carb on it

with the stock carb i bet youd be pulling your hair out

There is a guy up by Fredrick who has a track in his backyard
it is a good place for me and greg to do some bashing and tweak are cars
Its a nice way to relax from the racing pressure and allows me to try and kick gregs butt
Thank Greg, you are probably helping me go faster

And i couldn't beleive how horrible i was able to drive with that slow servo in my car
i felt like if i had stayed and ran i would of ripped the front end off the car
that new Jr servo looks like it moves as fast as my 357

Jason, I should be there at Debbies so you can kick my ass. hehehe The carb and the use of a standard plug definitely helps the flameout issues.

Mike, the 8450 is rated the same as the 357. I've had great luck with it, I think you'll like it. I think the right knuckle striped. I should have them before then but if you have extras, bring them, you never know. Now if I can just get the car to turn when I tell it to!!!!

Don't worry i won't be caught at a big race without all the spare parts i can get

if you guys are looking for more steering you could always get a mbx5

nevermind that last comment i need to keep that advantage for myself

KCarRacer is that what made the difference for you this year practicing at that guys track? you have certainly improved from early this year

i was surprised that the throttle servo was making that big of a difference for you ive been swapping servos in and out all year but i guess all my servos are kinda close in performance

anyone looking to buy a t-maxx or mst-1 i am selling them both

im not sure what i will do with the money yet but i would like to run indoor this winter

the year i ran indoor really helped me drive better

Jason,
I actually have not been there this year except for the last to weeks
What helped me the most was going to the diff setting i am at know and my engine feels like it doubled in power which has alowed me to cut corners and still keep momentum
I actually did very good last year my rookie year. i even took first place once and usually ended up in the A main
At the begining of this year I was alittle rusty and i was getting put in the qualifying rounds with the bashers wich did not help me at all. Now i have made a name for myself and am racing with you guys in quals wich is where you and me get going and run them 10 lap Q's

the throttle servo was making such a problem because i have raced with a super fast throttle servo since the first time i ran buggy and i love having COMPLETE control over my car.
I just couldn't run that servo because the trottle wouldn't close right away and wouldn't come on fast enough for me

Sorry for boring you didn't meen to write that much

Greg may be going to the MBX 5

i would only switch if i run faster with a mugen

I'm still up in the air about next seasons car. You'll know opening day next year. I might stick with the K car but that's yet to be decided.

I'll just JB weld the servo saver together. hahahahaha... really....
