our season is over and that really SUCKS

i went out today and got a xxx-s graphite plus to keep me busy over the winter

the wife knows what it is and what its for shes not happy but she hasnt said no

too bad we couldnt get the indoor offroad thing going i think hobbytown really screwed up

but i know a few of us who raced at pasadena this summer who are planning on racing carpet (said with my head hung low) this winter

hopefully we can have some fun and keep our skills up so next offroad season we arent rusty

hobbytownracer you going to be there occasionally?

anyway we had a great season had alot of fun and i cant wait to do it again next year

Jason, I might be down once and a while. Us vetrans don't need the extra track time to stay fast. hehehehe Probably 1/12 scale a few weekends through the winter. I gotta figure out how I'm coming up with the money to support 8th scale next season.

vince you told me a while back that you didnt like you mrc super brain 969 charger right? wanna sell it to me cheap?

the only thing you didnt like about it were that it didnt charge at a high enough amperage right? anything else?

i need a charger and i think that one will do the job 4.5amp charge and 3 amp discharge right anything about it i should know?

mike good luck at debbies i dont think im going to go its probably going to be too cold and my buggy is in need and my plans dont have any extra money in the budget untill spring

however i do change my mind quite frequently so you never know

im going to run the same buggy but with 99% new parts the only thing i can think of thats definetly going to be on/in it next year are the diffs

ive already got 90% of the plastic parts and im going to get every possible hopup for it i can get

Mike, bring a heater and a heat gun or hair dryer and warm the car up all over. It may sound crazy but you won't break nothing.

Jason, 99% new??? Does that mean your getting a new kit and taking out 1 part??? hahahahaha

Jason, you might consider a better charger if your running electric sedan. Spend the money on a Pit Bull. Then you can use it to charge receiver packs and tx packs too. If you need a discharge devise, make one with 10 automotive 1157 bulbs linked together. 4.5amp charge rate isn't enough if you ask me. Plus the 969 doesn't shut off so to speak, it goes to trickle charge when done. Not the best for Nimh cells. Seriously, think about the pit bull. You can find them pretty cheap. Even the M Pro is great for what you need and does everything the PB does.

i thought you werent supposed to charge at m,ore than 4.5 amps anyway?

the super brain can charge 1-8 cells of any kind of battery nicad nimh lead acid and something else i think

i guess i need to do more investigating i dont want to spend any extra money

Jason- i charge all my packs at 5 to 6 amps depending on the packs. buy the novak millenium, its like 119.99 at stormer hobbies.

I was wondering, what day is the december race down at debbies, i forgot, and is it just a one day??

KC- youll get em next time bud, you were havin a good run too, and then the plug went, thats a shame.... but shit happens!
