Jason, gut a large fuel filter (Kyosho) and use it in-line with the pressure line.

Looks like KC will take the engine and pipe to run up this weekend. If for some reason it falls thru I will send the engine and 2050 pipe up to pasadena with John. Greg, you got first dibs on the pipe and Mark with the engine. John knows the price and will take payment in my behalf. Thanks

No problem. The filter is large capacity(same size as Kyosho) but made by OFNA. Check it out. Kick some butt!

thanks. John has the engine and pipe for you. there is an Odonnell 99 plug installed and an extra one in the box. I also have more than 2/3 of a gallon of OD 30% that i was running on that engine. I will give it to John and you can buy it from him if you so desire. So you run the engine the same way i was without having to do many adjustments. that engine rips with 30% and you know it was temping at 205-210F after the main. You might have to change the tune a bit because of your clutch set up. I was running 9 inches of pressure line with the 2050 installed straight up(no filter from the pipe to the tank) Good luck up there. Represent, dont let out of state fools show you up!

Well, yesterday was a waste of time for me. Blew a throttle servo within a tank of fuel in practice, blew the clutch bearings, and lost a hinge pin. All before I could burn a tank of fuel!!! I sat out of the race. I hate to borrow electrics. You never know if the one you borrow will blow too. Then you owe someone a servo!!! No thanks, I'll wait and until next season and hopefully I'll have all my ducks in row by then. The action was great and alot of trash was heard throughout the afternoon. Chris Crews does it once again. Jason, let me drive his Mugen, still not sure I want one. I'm hoping the K2 will be cheaper by next spring with the K3 coming out soon. If it does go down in price, I'll probably get the K2. I did have fun calling a few heats and getting to WATCH the racing. Sometimes when your racing and the action is hot, you want to see it, the only problem is, your in it so all you can do is keep going and hear about it after the race.

Default I had the worst day

it all started on friday, i was putting my buggy together with a ragidy setup. i mean i had the out the boxs shocks i put on there and i didnt know what shock oil was in them because they were the RTR shocks but they were pretty heavy. then my motor was way out of tune because it was sitting since the MD state race. saturday comes along, the first qual my shock poped and bent the shaft, 2nd qual one of my clutch springs snaped and the car kept cutting off, 3rd qual my motor over heats to 370. when the quals was over i had 8 laps in all. and i was in the D main. the main comes along everyone gets off to a clean start by the 3rd lap i took the lead, as the race went on one of my front tires come unglued and was slinging my car everywhere i couldnt even jump the two doubles straight. about a minute left in the race my rear diff pinion gear strips and another one of my clutch springs snaped. i bumped up but started 3 minutes late cuz of that diff.

i am done with RTR buggies and im getting a REAL racing buggy, maybe a MBX-5 XR
