Default Spring Retainers...Popping off

I just got my new Traxxas Slash and I went a'bashin' and one of my spring retainers came off already...This is the first battery run through it...Do you guys CA those things on or what?

THe only problem that I have heard from the shocks department were the shock caps coming off. Everybody who has had this problem has been replacing them with the aluminum shock caps.
