schottky diode
how many people actualy use schottky diodes on your stock motor. i run monster stocks and orion core motors with a keyance speedo, do i need to run one? and what do they do?

well is your esc a reversing one? then NO you can not run it, reverseable ESC's have schodiodes built in them, well most of them 
what do they do, they pretty much jsut get rid of radio interferance and stronger braking, their one of those FINE-LINE-TUNINGs =] i never noticed a difference, yea maybe cause i dont need a stronger braking, the wall is my permanat brake

xaznriceracerx is right.
i don't used any schottky diodes on my motors, ur ESC has a built in diodes on their fets.
