If you tell your ICE that it's a lipo and set the battery capacity it should default to 1C for charging, and not allow changes. That's what ours does on our 18th scale packs, but I've never tried any lipos above 1320 MaH

That is how it works on my packs as well.

dude!! I already set it up 4 u on the 4800. Now 4 the 4500 charge @ 4.5 amps on lipo. The only reason ur lipo blew up was u got it used and the guy robbed u. Now get in touch with him and get ur money back otherwise ur a pus.

Over charging a LiPo is the main problem you want to avoid. Charging to 90% ensures you don't over charge. My TrakPower 4800 easily lasts for two races so chargin to 90% is no problem. I take two batteries to the track - run one for the qualifiers and the other for the main.

Yooo gweed been charging lipo's on his ice and my lipo's too for 5 months already.... you can charge 90% if that makes you feel safe.

He has 5 different lipo's 4 in total... 1 4800 2 3600 2 maxamps in his mini and 1 m11 lipo.... he knows what he is doing... zero failures....

I specificly told you not to buy those used lipo's off the internet. Turns out they both swelled...... hmmm.....

First of all if we can send a man to the moon we can make a charger that wont over charge ur bat. 2nd of all he bought used shit and almost burnt up mine and 3 of my friends stuff till i through the bat across the room. Then it almost burnt down the track. He is a kid looking for a deal on things when we told him to buy new.
