Questions?? xxx-t mf2

does any one know of a company that make steel tranny gears for the xxx-t mf2?

Unhappy xxx-t mf2

i just got mamba 7700 and ran 3 battereys through it and stripped the idler gear and diff

WOW just from the motor you might want to check the bearing i stripped the diff gear because i blew out a out drive bearing but i have never heard of any steel gears

the bearings are crisp and not siezed or any thing just wanted to know the answer to the first question

I don't believe anybody makes metal gear sets for the GenII Losi tranny. Honestly you shouldn't be stripping gears out even with that motor.

The tranny cases DO wear out and so does the aluminum top shaft. If any of the gears are worn, you WILL strip out gears.. the first to go is almost always the idler gear. Also make sure to put some grease on the aluminum top shaft.. just a little.. this will save the idler gear.. otherwise it will grind down especially with a hot mod.

Whenever going to brushless you should be doing you maintenance on the tranny more frequently then normal .
