Default Stafford Wins U.K. Championship With X - 6

Ellis Stafford has won the U.K. National Championship driving his X - 6. The U.K. Championship is a 6-race series, with the best four counting.

Stafford won today's race at Southport, locking up the Championship after five rounds with three wins and a third. He has TQed three of the five rounds. This is Stafford's third U.K. buggy Championship to go with two Euros 4WD titles.

Congratulations Ellis and to the entire U.K. Team!!!

Hard to be interested in any other 2wd buggy once you see a X6 for real...

This is a piece of history, congratulations X factory !

Do these cars really work on low bite surfaces? I know they do well on astroturf and high traction tracks-but do they have rear traction problems on a low-med bite track?

I don't drive an X6 but 2 of them recently made the A-Main at the Euro's on the same dirt track that held the 05 Worlds (Collegno, Italy) and from the event coverage at Oople it looks like the track was quite slick.

The New Math has as much traction on the typical loose outdoor U.S. surface as any other buggy -- the 4-Gear tranny takes care of that. T

hese tracks are usually rough, sometimes blown-out by the gas-guzzling monsters. Here the X - 6 weight distribution is a major plus, as the car handles bumps far better than a bucking-bronco rear-motor buggy. Often these tracks have large jumps, and the X - 6 is the best-jumping buggy out there, with weight distribution more like a 4WD than a rear-motor-buggy.

Fianlly, rear-motor buggies often push badly on loose surfaces -- with the rear motor there's no weight on the front wheels for traction. The New Math solves that problem. We carry lots more speed in all corners, and you'll have to adjust your driving so you don't run into the back of the competition when lapping them.
