Default Would an O.S .18 be.....

would an O.S .18 cvr-x be too powerful for a HPI nitro rush as i want a used good quality engine. And if thats too powerful ,will a good quality .15 engine (e.g team orion wasp) make a HPI nitro rush pop wheelies?

Thanks.

No, its not too much, I have the exact motor in my rush. Be prepared to keep an extra spur gear on hand though, I keep eating them up. Its alot of fun though, great motor, I have it running pretty rich and it doesn't pull wheelies, but im pretty sure you could get it to. Maybe lighten up the front end and change the clutch bell gearing, it could happen. It sure flies though...

i just put an os.18 in my rc10gt and i love it. i was able to go up a few teeth on the clutch bell and still smoke off the line with a great top end. plus i can also keep it on the rich side which means more motor life and if i need it there is still power in reserve.
