Maybe ask in the nitro forums.

Most people around here run electric.

Well if it is electric you motor sounds like a brushless motor and it is called thermalling it means you need to work on your gear ratio

oooh, oooh! I know, I know. The problem is you have a nitro engine in an electric car where the motor is supposed to be. Either that or you posted in the wrong forums.

Sounds like you have stretched the con rod
motor runs while cold, warms up the compression goes up , motor stops,,
The con rod is only Ali when you hit top RPM 18000+ and keep going with a hot motor(lean) its easy to do.... and fun
Try only keep full motor RPM to only 2-3 seconds, then back off for a sec.
more fuel(richer)keeps everything cooler and lubed, less top rpm, less fun
less fuel(leaner) more fun, more speed, more heat, more damage,,,,,,,even balance is needed

No more high speed passes all the way down the street at full noise. then lean it a bit more to go faster.(repeat) we all do it at first
thats my bet.

Oh yer this is the electric offroad
