So just so were all clear on this, first guy to show up to race one with regular 1/8th Buggy tires gets beaten to a bloody pulp and left for dead next to the track Porta-John, right?

so will this be a spec class as well? running in box stock forum? Id hope to at least be able to ditch what looks like an electric start setup

Well if it turns out to be only $200 I might try it, but me thinks it will be mucho $$$. Around here this will be more of a novalty, I dont see enough guys showing up to even have a class, for most this would be a 3rd, or even 4th class. This is a major investment, that will not replace 1/8th buggy, or even truggy. The nice thing about Traxxis is its cheap price, fun design, something you can whip out for a quick race in between heats. It is cool looking for sure, just like what ofna does with there 1/8th buggies, making GTP's out of them.

RCPD conversion or RC Monster should work good too. Techno one maybe as well.
