Default Pair of RC8BL buggies.

Here is a couple of pics I just snapped of mine and my brohters RC8(BL) buggies. They are factory team kits, and we have installed RC-Monster brushless conversion kits on them. We are both working on getting brushless motors, and some 8000 mAh LiPos from Max Amps. I hear a lot of good things about them, so I figured I would give them a go.

The 8000 is too tall to fit under the body.
You need this battery http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...=PQXP4s500025c

Thank you for the information. We have not actually measured one yet, but we will have one in our posession very shortly. I do know that we need the mah due to extended runtimes for our 15 or 20 minute mains. The competition is running 6400 (or something close to that) and they are just squeeking by. I also know that a 4s is way to much for our track. They have run 2s and 4s, and have found 3s to be plenty of power to run with the nitro guys, but not to much to not be able to hook it to the track.

Thanks again for the information, I will deff check it out and see if we can make that battery work.

Sorry, I assumed you were planning on 4s. a MaxAmps 3s 8000 will fit. There is a guy at my track running a RC8 on that battery with a Neu 1512 1.5d and it is awesome.

No problem there, I was a little scared. We already purchased one of the MA batteries, under the assumption that it would fit. I have also seen those battery trays, but I'm going to try something a little different first. Those are expensive, and I don't have the money to spend on that right now.

Ditto on that motor, it is a MONSTER. He is running the Castle Creations MM in there, and is super fast.

Thanks for all of our help
Jesse

Here is a cheaper battery tray that I have seen mounted in a Xray and it worked good.
