A simple Y adapter would do it, but the batteries would have to be at the same voltage before hooking them up.

You could also do a 4s to 2x2s balance adapter, like this 6s one: 6s adapter
I don't know of any that are ready made.

So you think that would work? I don't know man i don't think i would try it the battries will not charge equal and whats the odds of both battries being the same volts? But who knows may work fine. I would like someone to try it and let us know what the out come is.

For that price he could buy two more ICE chargers, and have a total of three... or... he could buy one more ICE and get another battery...

Sure could but the Ice has no balancer, can't charge A123 cells or lead acid batteries.

Also he never mentioned cost

I don't think its a good idea as the charger needs feedback from the pack to determine when to reduce the current towards the end of the charge cycle. I seriously doubt that both packs would be at exactly the same point all the way during the charge cycle considering they're 2 different mah ratings. I'd suspect that the Ice would false peak fairly early and one or both of the batteries wouldn't get a full charge.

Like Losi Scott says, I wouldn't do it but I'd like to see someone else try it!

Unless it's meant for two seperate batteries I wouldn't do it...only if they were both the same EXACT battery...

Actually if you have a decent knowledge of charging different chemistries you can charge all types of batteries with the ICE...I also have the Triton 2 and love its simplicity, but the ICE rocks because of the interactive info...

The only bummer is the lack of backlight...

Just modded mine awhile ago so you can see both the LCD *and* the circuitry...since shooting this pic I've added a semi-translucent sheet so it's much easier to read the text....yet still see the circuit board...

That's pretty neat. Looks like you put some front/back lights in there too. Very cool.

There is a guy on ebay that sells a back light kit for about $15 It is an EL panel that glows. I just installed one in my ice and it is awesome. He has a large selection of colors as well.

Here is a link.

Yup...put a plexiglass sheet under the LCD and lit it with 4 color corrected LEDs and can put different sheets under for different colors...but so far since taking this shot I've kept he semi-white sheet in...a light blue would be nice...so you can still see the circuits. The blue I have is alittle too dark...looks great but ya loose the board behind it...

Yes there is a slight hum but it can't be heard while the fan in the charger is running. I can hear it when it is at idle if I listen for it but I can live with the hum since we race at night and it was a pain in the but to see what I was doing with the charger. i use a pit light but that just created a reflection off the display so I had to pick up the charger and hold it at just the right angle to see it.

I've heard rumors that the Team Checkpoint 1030 is an upgraded ICE.
And it has an extra cooling fan etc...

I have to admit they look identical from what I've seen.
