Default Any Vehicle which generates less heat but Fast?

Can anybody tell me of any electric vehicle (Truck Prefered) which is prety fast but generates less heat so there would be no danger of motor or batteries burned. I read about Rustlers (By Traxxas) in detail and found that u should always care about motor is over heating or not!!!

Can u please suggest any Electric car which is fast enough say about 30 to 35 MPH but generates less heat and can be use by newbie like me and I dont have to bother about Motor or the batteries.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Thanx.

How about Duratrax vehicles? do they generates same heat is Rustler XL-5?

PS: I m not in a position to go for brushless coz its expensive.

Please recommend some fast vehicles which are safe to drive without danger of motor frying?

Are you looking for a RTR(Ready to Run) vehicle or a race kit? If your gonna get a race kit such as a XXX-T, then it comes down to what motor, speed control and batteries you run, not the truck. In a RTR, I would say Losi or Associated make solid models, but make sure you have quality batteries!

The traxxas vehicles are good for that.
A normal nimh or lipo in their vxl car/truck will do great.

You are not going to find any brushed car or truck that doesn't get the motor hot.

A brushed motor is at best 50% efficient. The other 50% goes up in heat. Even a brushless motor will get pretty warm when running and they are more like 85%-90% efficient.

I would go with a Team Associated T4 RS "Race-Spec" RTR.

Ok you typed the part about brushless while I was typing my post.

From my point of view, you can invest in brushless, spend a lot up front and not have to spend any later, or you can go brushed and start cheaper but have more cleaning/cutting/replacing to do later.

$300 for an RTR Traxxas brushless is pretty awesome.
$180 for their 12t brushed isn't bad either.

also check out the sidewinder from castle creations, it's a cheap way to get brushless.

Can you tell like brushless?

I also race mabuchi/stock/19t and like it but not as much as brushless.

Why not an RTR Losi XXXT w/ BL already in it? Then you have you new truck and BL in one package. Not to mention I think it is also Spektrum equiped also. I may be wrong on the last thing but do know you can get a BL RTR from Losi.

Are you talking about the Speed T or xxx-t brushless sport rtr? Because I heard the BL xxx-t is just as slow as the xxx t sport rtr 2 with the 19t motor.

If you want 30 to 35 you got it easy, get the VXL rustler. Stock gearing will run that with 2s lipo or 6 NIMH and run good, I'd also suggest at least a 4000 mah 2s LIPO. The reason being, that a good 2s Lipo will run cooler in any app. that runs a 6 cell. another option is the E-firestorm flux, it has a mamba sidewinder like setup in it.

I was only recommending that for the BL comes with it. Not really sure why you need a truck to go that fast on the street. I feel it would get boring real quick just to go out and speed run, but that is just me.

just remember if your bashing like in grass any motor battery will overheat , extra work. also running any battery down at full speed the whole time it will be hot. not letting motor cool betwin battery packs will burn up a brushed motor. i cant speak on behalf of lipos have not ran them yet.
