Default orion 3800 lipo?

While looking at rcmart I came across an orion 3800 30c lipo in a red box. I checked orions website and it doesnt even list them. anyone have any info on these? rcmart had these for like $89 where i just paid $99 for the 3600 25c orion pack at my local shop. Any info out there?

Ive seen 2. They look just like a 3600, only with a red label and 30C. I should have mine at my house when I get home today.

Its for real. Look here on Orions Swiss site. Theres also the 11.1v(3 cell) 3200, 3400, and the new Platinum TWO 5000. They 86'ed the 3600.

I was wondering about that....because I just placed my first order with ORION (as a driver) and I was not told there were 3800's available

I was just going to check that out........they may not be available in the US yet.

If you look at the 2400 lipo, it says "sofort lieferbar" which basically translates to "now available ". All the other packs say "Lieferbar ab" which translates to "available FROM". Which leads me to believe that they are not available yet. But, if you get yours Kevin, let us know what you got and how it works.

By the way, that 3800 isnt ROAR legal, so you wont be able to use it at the Shootout.

Ok, so the translation of "Lieferbar ab KW 31" is...Available from Week 31. Some of them show available from week 33.

Today is the end of Week 25. Soo, technically its about 6 more weeks before they are available if they release on time. That puts it on about the beginning of August. Which is what I was told that the new Lipo chargers would be roughly available.

Speedtech has info on new Orion Lipos:

I do wish they'd make saddle lipos.

Got mine today. Weighed it and its 8 oz, versus 15.5 for my IB4200s.

Thankfully I have those lead weights that put it back to 15.5
