anybody try those 20c 4000mah 7.4 volt packs for 50 bucks? Looks like a killer deal for a hard case racing lipo, but I'm not sure what balance tap it has on it.

the orions look good for 90 though.

Excuse my ignorance..What is the reasoning for using the 3600 instead of a 4800?

Edit - Also what is the general consensus on rcmart? I'm looking to buy some new packs and want to know the best place to get some cheap Orion's. Thanks.

Higher discharge rating, in the 2wd i run a 10.5 and the higher rating gives more punch. Helps on the triple at my track. With a hotter motor i don't think it's a issue like in my 4wd. I feel less of a difference.

Thanks for the info!

So where are people buying their packs from? After doing a little research on RCmart they don't look so great..

Could any of the differences in "C ratings" be felt in stock off road racing? Would there be any difference between the 3800 30C, a 3600 25C, a 5000 20C, and 3200 20C batteries?

with a 10.5 i can feel a nice difference between the 3600 25c and the 4800 15c. I am all over this 3800 hundo though.

I ran my 3800 at the HRH Shootout practice and I was clearing jumps a lot easier than in my NiMh cells. I wasnt using the biggest lead plate which Im sure made a difference, but I was able to clear a jump I wasnt able to lap after lap for a looooooong time.

It has more punch and run time, which is always a plus
