Default 1/8 Tires on ZX-5?

Has anyone tried putting 1/8 tires onto a 1/10 buggy? I want to put some big tires (1/8) onto my ZX-5 (1/10), but not having a lot of work to do. If you have done this before, can you please give me some instructions/guidelines/tips/et cetera? Thanks.

One thing you better gear with a much smaller pinion or you will burn up your electronics being overgeared with the bigger tires.

Oh okay. Never knew about that. I'll keep that in mind.

I am going to also need some bigger tire clamps.

Have you looked into the Proline 30 series wheel/tire combo. They are pretty close to the 1/8 scale 4.1" diameter.
