Default Tekin R1 Pro and adjustable timing

Hi,
I want to run a 7.5 turn motor that I have with my Tekin R1 Pro. I need to advance the timing because the motor is very slow if I use the same timing as my Redline 537 motor.

What will be the difference (if any) between adjusting the timing by rotating the motor's endplate and adjusting the R1's timing with my Hotwire?

Thanks,
Avner.

Rotating the endbell when using a sensorless controller will not change anything.

Adjusting the timing on a sensored motor does just that. But with the R1 we're not looking at the sensors at all nor the timing you're adjusting...
