which motor to get?

i want a motor that's identical to the feigao 8xl for my 1/8 conversion and came down to these two

Well, mor kilivolts equals more rpm, so it depends on what you need.

i just don't know if i should get the L, or XL, but isn't the XL supposed to have more torque?

You can put more amps to the XL, so yes it will have more torque.
