Default Motor Suggestion for my Slash

I picked up my slash today, and took it to the track. It jumps great, but is slow. What would you guys suggest as far as a brushless system goes? This is my first Electric off-road in at least 10 years, so im kinda out of the loop. Thanks for advice, it will be driven on a dirt track, and will eventually be lipo powered.

Leave the stock motor.

The coolest thing about it is that it LOOKS real and it acts real. Make it an over-powered mutant and you just stole some of the cool away. You might as well throw some wide tires and a skinny body and make it a Rustler.

Just find some other guys that have them and have a REAL race. We're going to do it at our track as soon as they're out around here...

Well, i want to be able to clear some jumps, like the triples out there that the brushless stampedes and rustlers do with ease. This thing is heavy, it needs more motor, and the esc is glitchy.

On another note, the servo seems very strong.

I'm putting a Sidewinder 4600 in mine. Should run in the low 30's on 2S Lipo and give a bit more run time than the stock setup.

I'd go for the Sidewinder 4600 or a 13.5 System from Novak, LRP, Losi, etc.

Either one wouldn't be too much power and would be great for runtimes. Smooth as well.

+ 1 on the 4600 KV setup, more than enough for dirt

Once ours arrive here at our facility, the 10.5 will be the replacement for them once the 12T burns up

I personally would go with a losi 4800kv sensorless system! I love the programing ease, and it has a smooth throttle curve that can be adjusted and also has minimal cogging! I love my 7500kv system!
