Hooking the fan up to the motor wires would mean the fan will be revving up and down rather than constant which would not be the greatest, I would definately be hooking the fan either to the receiver or directly to the battery side of your ESC.

I also run a B44 and have ditched the undertray as it was keeping the heat inside way to much,

Also with the B44 the biggest thing I have noticed when people are overheating is their drivetrains. Some of the cars I have checked their drivetrains do not spin over anywhere near where they should be, mostly because of shimming. I put an old motor in mine and let in run on the bench to free it all up.

Ok, so i added 2 Tamiya heat sinks, and I have 2 fans hooked up to the Rx now. I'll try and run the car tommorow morning as long as it isn't raining. I'll report back after I've run the car.

I can't really get rid of the undertray because my track is a really rough 8th scale track with massive jumps. Without the undertray I'd probably be buying a new chassis plate every month.
