They did get some in but they were filling backorders.
Guys this is one of the HOTTEST items in all of R/C right now.
They have been released to the public and shipments are being mailed out each week.
If your going to order it either TRY to find someone that has them in stock or buy it now even with a company that is backordered so you get yours as soon as more come in. It may be a while due to all the backorders for certain companies to show them in stock.

Say they have 100 backorders and 80 come in. Those backorders are filled and they still wont show any in stock.

Just a TIP.

If you plan to run sensorless a R1pro could have been a cheaper choice ?
What gearing on your 632, I run my 448 with 24/87 on my T4

I think he was keeping his options open for sensored motors. I'm running an R1 right now too actually since I'm running sensorless. Here's a picture of my XXXTcr. If you run the receiver back like I did you can route the esc lead over the rear batter tray and use some black fabric tape to hold it down and keep the look "clean." I took mine off so you could see where it goes.

I picked up this "chassis" tape at an auto parts store. Once it's applied you can't even tell it's there. If you look close you can see the edge of it on my car.

Yes I wanted to make sure I could also run sensored motors. I am running 24/86. Ahh now I see what you were talking about. Thanks for the pictures and all the answered emails Randy. Great support.

Hello,

I have the following questions about sensorless on off-road.

1.) I would like to know if sensorless has better feel (more smooth) than sensored.

2) Is there any intention from Tekin to make legal sensorless technology at ROAR , EFRA or IFMAR.

3) Is there any information about this, from Tekin, from ROAR, EFRA, IFMAR or any fiable source?

Thanx

Sensored has a bit better feel especially on the low speed end. The current RS uses both sensored and sensorless mode. Kind of a Hybred. It starts in sensored for the low speed then switched to sensorless for better timing control.
2) Is there any intention from Tekin to make legal sensorless technology at ROAR , EFRA or IFMAR.
Current ROAR rules require Sensored motors. The RS meets this requirement and also will keep running in the case of a sensor or sensor wire failure.
A RS will also run a sensorless motor if you don't have to meet ROAR spec's.

3) Is there any information about this, from Tekin, from ROAR, EFRA, IFMAR or any fiable source?

Thanx
More info is available at the Tekin website and in the Tekin forums.

Actually, I think you will find that it doesn't have to be sensored motors to be legal, just that if it is sensored, it has a certain connector, with a specific wiring configuration......

What is more important, is the dimensions of such things as the rotor etc...

well, both are limited on their specifications to 3S lipo.... and I would assume that is to do with the BEC limitations.

i have read that the R1 Pro is being used with success with 5S (with an external BEC). I was wondering if the RS Pro can be used with 5S (with an external BEC).

Any tips for the ESC settings? I am running the RS with a 2008 Orion 10.5 (and also a 7.5) in my RB5. I am new to Tekin and am trying it out to see how they are (I was a LRP user for years). I have it installed but have not tried it out yet. Thanks in advance
