Default help me find a new car

im in deep need for a new car. im getting tired of onroad and minis so i need a new 1/10 or electric 1/8. im wanting to run around my local track and race with the guys there and bash hard and i will be driving it on very rough land and will jump with it so its gotta be tough.im thinking about a converted RC8. what do you say?

sorry to hijack this thread but i dont feel the need to make a new thread
for the almost same question, so here goes:

which will be better?
the kyosho zx5 readyset or the tamiya db01?
dont worry bout part support as i have good support for both
im hunting for a new buggy and is for bashing purpose only not for racing
plus which part support do you guys think is cheap?
tamiya or kyosho, basically in my opinion
we all know a tamiya will always be a tamiya
but what can i say i love tamiya kits they are just fun to build
but i hate their plastic it always give way
never tried a kyosho before in my life

ohh only that i own their mp 7.5 great buggy though and great quality

i think most tamiya's suck for racing, besides the 501x models.

go with the lazer if you have parts support, tamiya is really no better in that area.

Losi 8 1/8 scale converted to electric is what i would go with jumps really good easy to correct very durable...or even a truggy would be reall fun to bash up in electric lol...... i wouldnt go with losi, associated, kyosho for just bashing in the 1/10 class their made more for racing purposes i would go more with like that new traxxis corracing truck or something on that line, obviously the losi ,associated, kyosho are better but definatly more for racing then bashing...

(so nobody to comment on this..)

out of those two KYOSHO all the way

cant go with losi nor ae as there are no parts support
and dont think would go with a 8th scale conversion
im just finding a 10th scale to just bash around
so doin a comparison between the db01 and the zx5
dont know regarding the quality of the db01 compared to the zx5

your best bet would be to go threw all the threads about the kyosho electric stuff and the threads about tamiya electric stuff and see what people are saying ,throw in some questions and go from their , your question is a hard one to awnser because everyone is going to have their own opinions on what car they like best and this and that but i would think kyosho would be stronger than a tamiya maybe call around to some popular hobby shops and ask what product do they sell the most the kyosho or the tamiya and that might help you decide other than that have fun with what you decide on...
