Default Novak High-Voltage 6.5 in E-Revo?

Hi, Guys.

First, I am new here. I am 13 and from PA. I have a Revo and Jammin' X1 CRT. The Revo I am making into an E-Revo.

How is the Novak HV Maxx 6.5? I heard good things about it but I just want to make sure. I watched video's and stuff and it seems like a nice Motor/ESC Combo.

What do you guys think?

Welcome. The novak is a good system, But there are stronger setups for cheaper. Is this a conversion? and what kind of a conversion? (gorilla or stock?) i ran a 4400hv (pre 6.5) and it was a good setup, I just did not like the temps (140+ in race conditions) I know the temps were not bad, BAD, But i thought they could be cooler. I'd get the 5mm shaft if the novak you get doesn't have it

Ask XXXtruck (Dennis Allison) here for his set up. His E-Revo was very impressive this weekend at the RC Pro Series against the gas ones using the brand new Novak HV pro ESC and a 6.5 HV motor running 30 minutes non-stop (without battery change) with 2 12,000 mah 2S li-pos. He TQed and finished 2nd by .9 of second....good race!!!

I was impressed enough I want an E-Revo with a Novak HV Pro ESC and 6.5 HV motor.
