Default rc10gt idleing

when the wheels are off the ground in idle they spin. is this correct? do you think the weight of the car will keep it steady when it is on the ground? if so what should i do to fix it?

thanks

an ideal idle would be no tire spin with no brakes applied or dialed in. If the tires move then the clutch is engaging and all you are doing is wearing down your shoes. try to get it to not spin the tires even if a little (I mean a little) bit of throttle is applied.

if the idle starts to die after just a few seconds, then lean out the low end needle till it is steady. then readjust the idle set screw. you may have to richen the high end needle. go to www.parisracing.com under tips for more answers

Also make sure your clutch shoes are installed properly... the end with the hole should be rotating the way the engine does.

Improperly installed shoes will most likely cause any engine to die when placed on the ground.
