Please tell me what part of having the "said paper" will make you a better "track test engineer" then any of the top level setup guys in the hobby. If he is doing an engineers job way better then 99% of the m.e.s out there then how can you say that he isn't basicly an engineer? If you still believe that the top notch setup guys in the hobby don't do stuff for the cars then please tell me how the engineers that work @ a desk all day know what the track conditions are going to be like @ the race 2 years down the road. Then, show me the design guys who are at the said track coming up with these new setups 5 years after the cars release. There are plenty of engineers out there that don't do engineering work either.

So being Homeschooled makes you not as qualified??

Just leave the guy alone, find something else to do, maybe like doing some work at your job were you should be working not posting ignorant things.

In fact a good friend of mine is finishing his degree and destroys people in his field with the work he does, and he doesn't have "the paper." So please try not to throw that in my face.

Wow never knew he was like this.

He went to my high school Corona del Mar and I always saw him standing in a corner by himself eating his lunch. To add to it, he was in special education.
One of my favorite drivers when he was young, but after reading this I really do not like him any more.

Adam Drake is now my new favorite driver.

The only clear thing we can all gather from this ridiculous post is that you haven't met many Factory guys (even though it is a fact that they do race at Scotty's track throughout the year). Most Factory racers are sincerely nice and decent people as well as helpful. Billy Easton is often moody at the Track. Its just the way he is. To say most Factory guys are just like him is dead wrong and far from the truth. You just proved what a foolish TOOL you are to the world with that line of BS....

As for Cavalieri, yeah he does get more upset than most on the Driver's stand especially when things get hot on the Track. In the pit area though he has always been cool and approachable. As Coach mentioned... just give him time to cool off after a bad run or when an unfortunate incident just occurred. Emotions and passion get the best of most of us during such times.... Ryan is no different.

Damn that sucks.

What an awful thing to do, especially to a kid just trying to have some fun in this hobby!

I think people forget that these are in fact TOY CARS!! Sure, we spend hours per week tinkering and building and weekends racing and practicing, and they are very precise carbon fiber aluminum and plastic machines, but at the end of the day they are toy cars. I am not saying that to downgrade the cars or the hobby in any way but people have to accept that these are toys--its a hobby to have fun in. Some take it further and make it their bread and butter which is great if you have what it takes to do that.

He did but he attended I believe 7th and part of 8th grade. My friend knew him personally but he stopped attending shortly after the ninth grade.

This is back when he has wit Losi, because he wore Losi shirts like everyday.
