Default Tool help!

Ok... Im back after 13 years and I'm starting from scratch.

I have a B4 I plan on racing but right now I have ZERO tools!!!!!!

I want to know what all you guys have in your tool boxes you take to the races??

I want to round up a good solid collection of tools but I dont want to carry a bunch of extra crap I dont need....

Also what tackle type boxes do you guys prefer to store tools/spares/batteries in????

Thanks in advanced... I feel like such a n00b!!!

Hi Neccros,
I was in the same boat as you are now in January. It's been 10 years out of R/C racing myself.
The B4's are simple to work on. Don't need much for tools. I ended up buying Dynamite .050",1/16",2.5", and 3/32" hex drivers. A needle-nose pliers and a regular pliers. I also have a nut driver for the rear wheels.
I hope this will help you out to get started?
Good luck racing and have fun.

First of all welcome back. I carry all my stuff in a tub that you can get at WalMart. About $5 or so. Snap on lid and I can set the buggy on top of the tub or if not carrying much, it can go inside. Gave up tackle boxes because I always had too much stuff in them that I didn't need.

I keep small stuff and tools in a plastic pencil box. Usually about $1 or so at WalMart.
