Default New Ride! Mint XX4

Soon to be the new home of a Brushless system! I just finished it up today, I think it has MAYBE half a pack on it, we attempted to drive it and all three belts disintigrated! They're all better now, brand new Losi belts installed, shocks refreshed, new lid and shoes......It's ready to rock! Practice body painted by yours truly.

I'm a painting badass when it comes to single-color-rattle-can jobs! Watch out

Now, what to put in it?

Yup! I felt bad for it just sitting and collecting dust bodyless, wheelless and beltless, lol so I ordered up some parts from Horizon and it should be in action this summer!

I can't wait for offroad to start up, I'm looking forward to trying out the 4WD Mod class.

Nice, hope to see you guys down here this season. 4wd looks to have a pretty good turnout this season.

you might want to put shock towers on it from this century unless you plan on not jumping

Also you should put on the white front pivot block, that one has the old black one.

I'm trying to find the ones with the cross bracing, I think I have the rear somewheres....

I also have the white pivot block too, just didn't know it was crucial, lol.

I guess the shock towers show how old of a kit it is and that it hasn't been used at all!

This is kind of funny since I have run my XX-4 the same exact way(a stick pack on one side of the car) with NiMH batteries. The car doesn't balance, but it drives just fine anyway.

I also forgot to add that the reason it is such an old XX4 Graphite kit is because I rescued it from a box of old rc stuff when we bought the company. I have no idea what exact year it is but I know it was Kevin's car and it was built and never used.

I'll get some space age shock towers too!
