Hey guys, can you suggest what motor should I use for my XXX-4? I'm currently using a 14x2 mod motor. Yes, it's fast but it drains my battery like peanuts.
. I just want a high-torque mod motor that's fast but doesn't drain my battery quickly.

Has any one tried using the new batteries in the XXX-4. I can't seem to make it fit right. I tried dremaling out the battery brace. But when I do that it does not seem to hold the battery in tight enough. The batteries either fall out or it actually breaks apart inside the car. But when I put the 3300 packs in I do not have a problem.

I run the 38's just fine. The only thing i did was loosen the screws to the hold down posts two full threads. Also, make sure you built your packs straight, as that can lead to problems too.

Anyone have a pair of DELRIN ARMS i could buy? Or a working link to buy them from somewhere????

Hey, can I use double shock towers for the front and rear? Some of my friends said that you could use double graphite shock towers to increase durability although they didn't say it's applicable in the XXX-4. Is it advisable?

You just need to use screws that are a few mm longer. You really only need the front from what I have found but you can do them both.

yup, run two fronts, and make sure u take out the retaining nut on the shock mounting screw in order to retain geometry.....
