i would buy yourself a nice servo right off the bat... atleast something medium high speed, medium high torque. Or else you will be looking to replace right away. I learned the hard way

csdspeed, it wil work the steering and allow you to drive the car. The only draw back is you'll be needing to begin turning before you reach the turn, since the servo will be sloooooooooow and weeeeeeeak.

But it will work, especially if you aren't used to better servos.....yet.....Jim

hi guys, have anyone tried to use a novak brushless gtb w/ 6.5 velociti motor to your xxx4g+. Can u help me with the spur / pinion setup. We run here in Phils. small to medium size technical track. Loose to hard pack track.tnx.

hey guys I have a regualr xxx4 and and noticed on the g+ edition the rear shocks are reversed compared to my regualr xxx4. Can I reverse mine like the G+ with out any extra parts?

any one got a good set up for a indoor black dirt/clay mix. this track has tons of traction.

stock setup... works great... i ight try moving the front shocks out on the arm, and add a one way if it is high speed.

What gearing should i use for a chameleon 19 by 1 in my XXX-4? I need tooth numbers, it has a blue spur on it right now...

Usually you gear the same as a stock motor, but I would start at 25/92.

anyone know who makes aluminum steering knuckles for the XXX4.... i broke 3 right hand ones yesterday, and at 7 bux a pop, they are kinda pricey...
