7.5 is the stock setup. You can go 5, 7.5, and 10.

If you have a section of whoops the 10f will help you go through them a bit better and it will numb the steering inputs a bit. When going to 10f from 7.5F you need to add some limiting to the shocks to keep your down travel the same. I've ran 5F once just to try it out and I didn't like it much but the track conditions I see alot are a bit rough.

The different ackerman positions will just kinda change the agressivness of how the car responds. I like the forward positions the best but there are serveral that like the rear mounting positions. It's been a while since I tried the rear positions and I don't recall really how it felt. My notes just say "PUSH."

I was not too happy with the car tonight at all. It pushed bad into the corners and was loose coming out. I think I'll try the 5* block and forward on the ackerman. See how well that works.

Thanks

Hi Jkerr0043

I am DPM Racing.

Thanks for the plug, spongebob!

I've been away from the boards for a while, but I am still churning out front arms.

So far, only one back broken out of over 200. Not bad, plus the crash was on bluegroove, huge triple, bad landing, etc, etc

Been thinking about Delrin towers like the new Losi fiberglass towers. Is there a need?

I would buy them, the arms a great. Funny thing about the arms, this happend twice now. I clipped a pipe,(pretty hard), and the hub carrier popped out of the end of the arm without breaking anything.

That is strange...no other breaks? Did the holes for the pins in the arms strip?

I noticed that Losi recommends not using the al carriers with their new arms.

I haven't heard of any issues with mine, but I would take caution. The shock will transfer somewhere.

Nope, nothing broke and the pins were still in the arm. There was a small mark on the spindle carrier from one of the pins.

Anyone had any problems with the front spindle carriers breaking on the G+. I have broken both right and left and both were from small taps with the edge of the track...

If anyone knows of a stronger part replacement...???

I'd like to come out and see that thing on the track soon, but I'll be busy this week building up my car for Stockton... maybe next week.

Default Derin Towers

Dingus....

If you produce Delrin shock towers....I would definately buy them. The fiberglass are strong but they're not unbreakable.

Start churning....Let us know when they're out.
