Yeah. Already looking for aftermarket parts for it. Need a motor and a 6 cell pack for it. Everyone's out of stock right now though.

One of the SoCal guys bought a watt-age motor at Hobby People for $10 and it keeps up with the stock guys in 1/10 scale...

That's probably the wattage 370 motor. That's what I used to run when I ran an HPI Micro. It's what Orion is selling as the "Big Block" Same motor. But I think you have to do some major mods to the truck.

Went to the track today. I'm a happy boy with this car. In the morning the track was freshly rolled and all the jumps were freshly faced. It was nice and cool out and the track was nice and moist and had tons of traction. This thing was flying! I was running 1 Reedy 19 turn and was just killing guys running XXXT's with brushless systems. Unfortunatly, on my last run I lost a front shock tower to a newb w/ some kind of a big basher truck using reverse down the back straight. Oh well. Nothing that can't be fixed. But the setup changes and nice track conditions worked out well.

I would replace the front arms with the delrin arms by DPM Racing and front alum pivot mounts. Other than that, the car is pretty bulletproof.

Do they race off road on Sunday mornings? I was thinking about heading up there some time soon. I'd like to get this thing on a high bite track. One thing I noticed about this car is how much it likes to jump. You know the one big triple at Family? I couldn't keep from trippling it. Every time I tried to just double, single it, I'd case the third jump.

Speedchair,
Do you have a website for DPM Racing? I'm interested to see what they have.

I think they do off-road on Sunday, but honestly not really sure, never run off-road there.

Has anyone been working with the different ackeman positions and/or bump steer with this buggy yet? Was thinking about playing with that a little tonight as well as trying the 10* kickup block.
