Thus making a tighter fit? I'll give it a shot...

I was thinking a tiny bit of silicone fuel tubing as well

I also noticed that the motor shaft is really close to to the upper belt that goes toward the top of the front pulley. Is this normal? I was thinking of grinding down the shaft by a mm or so...

the xxx-cr hubs with either the BK2 or CR rear arms allow for more tuning options, VLA. when running the cr arms you need to run the bk2 rear cvds or they jam into the diff nut and cr cvds when using the bk2 arms...cvd wont be long enough.
Use a nut instead of washers in the rear, apply red loctite on the nut and screw it onto the ball stud itself. Washers even if you put ball stud tight they will still flex causing metal fatigue on your ball studs

Here is the picture of wing mod that works for XXX-CR and XXX-4 as they use the same exact wing post and are around the same size

Thunder Tiger ST-1 1/8 truggy wing 160mm wide comes in [Black, white, red, orange, blue, yellow and some others]

also heres pic of shock boots that I made from wal*mart balloons The long skinny ones by the woopie cousions lol $1 for 6 shock boots woot

Will have pictures of my ball stud mod with the nut soon.

you know i never looked at that.... i gotta go go check now.
i spent a fortune last night after practice... i ordered a new chassis, not sure what the fatigue life is on them, hd belt kit, new slipper, new pivots front and rear, new shock cartridges, new alloy pivot balls, etc... just want a fresh ride for this year
has anyone tried the aluminum steering rack for the xxx-s, also found some alloy caster blocks for the front that i might try.

I did not notice it before, but after installing the 1-way diff, the belt is right up against the motor shaft. I think i would have noticed this before, but the belt is on correctly, and the tension seems correct.

Just thought it was strange...

Oh, where are you looking at for the aluminum parts?

Hmm....I wonder why mine is? You think they would standardize this stuff

I also picked up a new top spur cover, rims, and a few sets of AE battery foam. Will see how I can fit the LiPo a bit more snug in the area there.....

Little foam blocks.....will see if Hot Glue will melt it or not

Different motors may have different shaft lengths. Mine almost touches the belt too. Hasn't hurt a thing.

Im not to concerned with the ball studs.. I'm always adding or removing throughout the day as the track changes so it would do me no good.

he sells the caster blocks cheaper here http://www.amainraceway.com/ctlgoffroad.htm
