Set your rear arms level or just below level then look at the side of the car and make the chassis level or the front a little below the rear of the car for the front ride height. I have never set 4wd front ride height by the arms or cvd's so am not sure where they are angled at.

Default Front shocks

I've read that one reverse the front shocvks to put them behind the shock tower for ease of rebuilding. How would one do this on the XXX4?

I have never heard or see this done on a xxx-4 and not sure why you would want to do that.

However it is very common to put the rear shocks on the back of the rear shock tower. The new XXX4 G+ even is built that way from out of the box. The reason's why this is done was discussed serveral pages back.

Jared- Do you run at Planet in Indy often? I am trying to get a few guys together there around Xmas (when I will be 'home') to club race...Ringers, Robbers, Roy, etc. Let me know if you might be interested....

I haven't been up there since last year. It's a 3+ hour drive for me and it's just really hard to talk myself into going when I have a local track in Lexington. I'm planning on going up there soon though. There is no way that I'm going to carpet munch all winter. That's just bad for the rc soul. LOL

Jared- I don't blame you. I am glad that Planet opened, b/c it is less than 30 minutes from my folks' place; CRC was 2.5-3 hours each way...quite a bit for a one day trip. And what's wrong with a little rug munching?

Roy- Word-up...see you then. 4wd's too, perhaps!?

The 2x4s that's used for barriers don't make good jumps.

As for 4x4, I believe the planet as been having a 4x4 class.

4wd at Planet is doin well and more will be racin soon. sounds like 3 or 4 people are building cars and I am getting ready to start up again too, so hopefully by next month it will be a real strong class.
Come on down! the more the better.
