Default LCD

I tried the LCD's on my XXX-4. I practiced four packs & in the first qualifier one LCD broke. I had no replacement so I bumbed a steel one from a buddy.
In the third qualifier the other one exploded so I'm not a fan of LCD'S.
I guess my 13 turn Revolution was too much for them LOL.

Here is something you can try for steering I use it and it is great
I used the front alum. caster blocks from the bj4 and the hinge pin from a b4 and some alum. spacers from kyosho ( these can be from anything, just happened to have these)
I used set screws to capture the pin. And the spacers allow you to move the caster block forward or back. I have it forward 1mm
Also use the xxxcr rear with stock bones
No cutting, everything fit great. May need to sand a c*** hair off a spacer if they are tight

Carl, when you say "CR rear with stock bones" you mean the CR thrust and diff assembly with the stock XXX4 alloy CVDs?

How about spring choice for LIR? I am at silver front and pink rear and steering is surprisingly good.

Sorry I forgot the springs yellow rear and orange front
I may try the silver but it may make my s\t a little twichy depends on the track and the day
Also run 1 deg rear kickup (or pro squat)

Another question: can you use the xxx cr plastic rear hubs--with the vertical ball studs? Does it change the rear offset at all? I want to be able to adjust roll-center in the rear, can't do it with the stock hubs or inner camber link mounts.

I love running my xxx4, but every time I race it the rear end comes apart. It seems that the whole rear end is held on up 4 screws with the 2 going into the transmission cover being the most important. How can I keep my screws from stripping out during races and requiring a complete rebuild?

Thanks!

Put some Shoo-Goo on your screws.

Someone also suggested to use CA, is this a bad idea?

Shoo-Goo does not crack like CA will sometimes.
