Anyone know if any other manufacture makes the aluminum pivot mounts ? I can find all but front 7.5 and front ,rear inner mounts . Mike Truhe said he thinks Losi is discontinuing because they cost too much to make . Also thought he heard someone else was gonna make them .

Here are some crappy pics of the rack on my xxx4. I used the stock steering bellcranks and flipped them around so the long posts are down and towards the rear. Use the rear holes in the chassis for the steering posts. The cr rack is mounted to the holes using 4-40 bolts with low profile nuts on the bottom to lock to bolts from spinning as the rack turns. The rack is mounted so the the ends curve down in the front.(look at side view) If you want to you can drill out the hex mold in the cr rack and install the bushing kit used in the cr buggy. I didnt do this. You will need to grind the chassis accordingly but its not to bad(remove the front diff and pull belt aside unless your brave). I moved the servo back and drilled one set of holes and mounted a long tie rod as shown. The steering bellcrank can be reinforced like on truhes car but its good to have some give someplace. good luck

Very nice looking Schmel...What are you accomplishing by running the CR rack on that car over the stock setup?

I just bought a new G+ and looking at some set up sheets . the kit comes with new VLA rear arms and neither the kit`s set up or any other set shows that . There are more holes to choose far as shock and outer pin locations . Are you guys running the outer pin inside or out ? What about shock location on the arm ? Now that there are three choices instead of two .

Kit specs doesn`t show the new arms with different holes . Kit specs is for the older arms with just one outer hole and two shock holes .
