Yea i know what you mean man, A company like RPM needs to take note here and make some hard nylon pivots, something not made out of stiffezel or graphite, its just to brittle to absorb impact in the pivot support areas...What do you mean nylon bolts? Like a 4-40 nylon flat head screw? Never knew there was such a thing, i would imagine it would break faster than the pivot supports... from what i have seen with the car i dont think there is a good way around this problem, appart from trying to not crash which is out of our control sometimes when others hit us. Ive only broken one on the car so far but i can be sure i will break more in time.

There are nylon bolts. Now, I don't know if they are easy to find in flat-head -- I can't remember. I used to use them in electronics assemblies a long time ago.
Once I learn a track,I might not crash much, but I hate going to a new track that has new jumps that I have to try out and come down funny on a few times and blowing out one of those pivots, then its a whole new pack of parts. I would rather have the sacrificial part be a little more easy to come by.

The only thing I will caution you on with the nylon hardware is that in my experience with it, in low-stress applications, it doesn't tend to stay tight. I can't imagine it getting better in high stress applications such as suspension pivot mounts.
Also - what is the shear strength of those screws?
The other thing to watch out for is where it shears off on an impact. If it takes the head off it is no big deal but I'd be surprised if a portion of the breaks didn't happen right at the pivot, forcing you to have to dig a plastic screw out of a plastic part with nothing to grab.

anyone with some CNC equipment feel like making some super sweet aluminum pivots? I think its ridiculous that a company that discontinues there other 4-wheeler, discontinues the parts to make the one in production race worthy! ill pay some sweet cash if anyone has a spare set they want to part with

they are diffrent, and the spacing is a bit diffrent, but i remember back in the day before the G+ people were using them with some modding. I read a European thread about the xxx4 that was quite long with a bunch of diffrent things they did to make it handle better, that was on of them. there was also something about lengthening the steering arms. cool stuff but never could find pictures on what they did exactly.
