in case some of you didnt see them, i recorded and edited some footage into music videos for the JBRL races that have thus completed, thought id post here for all to enjoy! Comments appreciated!

Im gonna be building a steadycam soon and using my brothers DVD based camcorder as my old JVC is showing its wear (the record button doesnt always work and it becomes a pain to record/stop recording).

yeah i screwed up and rendered the second video in lower res, then re-rendered it in HD and it wasnt the same. The first one i rendered it in HD first then re-rendered in a lower quality.

Next song i think is gonna be either Damage Inc. or Disposable Heroes by Metallica. I wanna lean towards Damage Inc. but the long draw at the beginning of the song is turning me off to it, Disposable Heroes is more workable as far as the vid goes.

ive got plenty of fear factory. Shock, Zero Signal, Demanufacture and Remanufacture, Lecchmaster, Archtype, Resurrection, and a few other songs. Not much for Korn though. Thing is, i kinda wanna keep the tone down cuz if people hear Burton's voice all yelly and angry and scratchy (before his singing voice of course), they might get turned off to it. Metallica is the universal awesome for that stuff lol. Ill think about it though...

fear factory songs that could work would be:

Demanufacture (remanufacture is good too)

Linchpin

Even their cover of Cars would be interesting to use lol. Securitron (Police State 200) could also prove interesting (but with massive editing).

We'll see. I have some Anthrax songs in mind for later on too.


Incase you havnt seen this though, you mentioned "older stuff" well here you go. The footage is super old and the song is even older but i managed to capture and edit it all together not too long ago :P

Now thats some bashing.... Sweet video though.

Megadeath too, I will look at some of mystuff too and see if there is anything that might work too. Metallica is pretty good for this for sure though, cant really go wrong. are you staying with the metal theem only?

Yeah i want to stay with metal, its just my thing. I might use the unreleased "Sleepwalker" song from megadeth, you should look it up.

Ill see about bringing a stereo or some speakers or something so you can show me what ya got at the next race. You can pick the song for Rev, Josh.

The track was really fun for sure with the different combinations especially in mod, but the track surface was like running on the street with your offroad tires.
