I'll have to see how this stacks up to the Revo I am currently converting to brushless with the Tekno kit. I like the idea of keeping a clutch and mechanical brake rather than just a slipper clutch and letting the ESC/motor slow me down.

At least it will be easier than doing your own conversion, and should make electric MT racing more popular.

Espresso - is that the Castle Mamba Monster Max I see peeking from behind those wires? It would be nice if they finally released that thing...

YUP, Castle was right accross from Traxxas. Castle had an emaxx and Traxxas had MMM on erevo. Hang tight video to come.

P.S. According to the rep, the MMM made the erevo hit 50mph, not sure what lipo or gearing they used.

from what I have read of the initial specs, the Mamba Monster ESCs motor is a 2200Kv or so motor. So with 6S setup, I can see it doing that.

Very nice looking if that is the production motor though. I may just sell my neu if it is!

Any word from the Castle reps when they are actually going to release that Monster Max? I'm 95% done with my BL Revo conversion and would like to get that one...if it ever freaking comes out!
