Thats pretty funny! I don't see how if the bottom belt cover is suppose to fit in a slot in the chassis and it's 1/2" longer then the slot in the chassis, that it was operator error? Also how if the body isn't even the same shape as the one that's suppose to come with it? I must have missed something in the directions about that?

All I want to know is if getting the wrong parts is a common mistake with Losi? Thanks!

Thats what I am assuming happened. The guy at Losi didn't say what chassis I had gotten, but he did clearly state that I had recieved the wrong chassis and wrong body. All is good though, both items have shipped and will arrive sometime early next week.

They all have build issues, atleast Losi is covering you. I just assembled 3 Associated kits in the last 3 months, and all 3 had either bad parts, or missing parts. Quality control isnt what it used to be!

I think RussB hit the nail on the head.

Default slowsi

well since the horizon buyout i would imagine there is gonna be some kit issue for a while . i have bought all associated cars and buggy and a few ofna ,hpi kits and have never had a problem and if i did it was taken caes of asap . i really feel sorry for all the losi owners cause they will probably be dealing with all sorts of parts shortage and other issue with parts and support for a while ,not sure if this was a good idea for horizon to buy losi in the first place ,just my 2 cents just ask if there is gonna be a losi team at the nats this year ,any nats .......

One of the local Losi drivers in my area recently received a sedan chassis in their XXX4 kits as well

Sounds like a packing mistake...

I once bought a T4, that believe it or not... had B4 everything...except for the body and tires... it happens, there are people packing these things that really have no clue what they are..things get mis-boxed at the factory level, which trickles down to the customer. AE took care of me, as will Losi for you.

Yep, you out source this stuff to a third world country and this is what you get. I hope the companies are saving enough money on this to warrant all the replacements they have to do when the wrong parts show up in the kits. It does not sound cost effective to me.

For Horizon the market for them seems to be more geard towards 1/8 gas RTR kits now. So sounds like electric is on the back burner now.

A lot of losi's problems happened after Gil Losi jr. left for kyosho. I know a couple people who order the mini lst2 and another ordered the jrx-s type R when Gil Losi left and they had to wait a month for there stuff to get here. I am not saying its all his fault but everything was fine at losi when he was there.
