Which brand brushless motor in which car?

A 10.5 Novak I gear 25 pinion and 78 spur with the Associated RC10B4 and Kyosho RB5 just like the Novak site suggests...

RCHR is right on the money as long as you are not using the EX series of motors. They have a different power curve and use a different gearing.

I ran an EX 13.5 this weekend and never found good gearing for an Associated B4, what would you recommend. Intermediate outside track, technical infield, one long straight; thanks.

I ran 31/78 with Speed Passion 13.5 this weekend @ Roar Region 4 Championships and placed 4th, wasn't from lack of speed!! I run 29/78 in truck, were I got 2nd place.

Thanks guys, I was only undergeared 5 teeth. The funny part is my new X6 was running EX13.5 with mod buggies running 7.5s and 10.5s undergeared 5 teeth and still only two laps off in 7 minute qualifiers. I love this buggy.

Thanks Tim. Seems like a fairly small gearing difference truck to buggy, unless I'm confused by tranny ratios. They are both 2.6 right?
