Normally run smaller pinion on truck than buggy. It is usually a bigger difference than 2 teeth; but that was with a brushed motor. Brushless threw all the old rules out the window. With what the other racers are suggesting, I will be geared about 9 teeth higher with the brushless than brushed. I will watch heat to make certain; but it makes sense based on what some others have said. The power curve of brushless is completely different than the brushed I am familiar with.

i ran a 25 tooth with that buggy...all indoors, 65x40 foot tracks

Marco did you find a Fireblade EVO to run!!!!!!!!!!! or a nice Cat 3000 for 4 wheel.
