I could really care less if Castle gets approval or not, I am just tired of the BS about blaming ROAR for something that is all up to Castle to do!!!

You guys need to take up the issue with Castle and get the stuff approved just for the sake of those wanting to use it a track that strictly follows the ROAR rules.

Again ROAR is not the problem why Castle products are not approved!
Somehow I'm sure you did. Nice thing non of the tracks around us run ROAR because no one shows up when they do. Racers spoke up and tracks listened and attendance has now grown. As long as you sleep well at night believing in what ROAR does is cool then its all good.

How many more times can you post the wrong stuff. You would make a great President with all the CRAP you spout and especially for ROAR. Hell I would vote for you just for the entertainment.

A rare case of a failure in an application way out of spec btw. AND Castle will replace it, for free no questions asked most of the time. And it's only $50 no matter what... forever. Novak would charge twice that and tack on $15 shipping to send it back.

AND... 100% of GTBs would burn up like that if you try to power a 50mph 1/8 car. Very few MM have burned up... and there are more MM being sold than Orange, believe it or not.

You just have to try and ignore him. Its just the way he is. If he doesn't run it, it has to be no good.

I own both and well I would never run 5s on my gtb like I do with my MM. I have had 2 fail on me but seriously its not even close to being with in spec so there $50 charge is fine by me.

Castle did not just copy the UForce, as much as you would love it to be the case.

They made a controller with similar capabilities but that's it. THey have their own engineers and Patrick designs all the hardware himself. That's how the company started and they still do it the same way. They are in Kansas City, not China.

Same could be said for almost anything.

Castle's motors are not just a clone of a "cheap" motor. By the way, those cheap chinese motors are a clone of a high quality German made motor.

ROAR: Apparently it's not as simple as "just send in an application" or it would be done by now. You still don't get it: ROAR is not GOD. Maybe their rules and attitude needs changed..... THEN Castle and others can submit their motors.

There is no point in sending in something they KNOW will get rejected.

If you don't believe us... or Castle... perhaps you should talk to Tekin. They agree with me on this one, and they might just change your mind.

CRAPS: If you are looking for the Schulze copy cat... look to Feigao/Hobbywing. Rumor is the old brains from Schulze is in China, and that's also why there was not much new from Schulze for a couple years at least.

I don't really care about Schulze or Sensorless Brushless anymore! I have progressed beyond that level of technology!

wow, this is almost getting personal in here! Seriously, let's lighten up a bit. It is frustrating when someone is bashing a product that we personally know is a very high quality product.... and it's even more frustrating when we know people who are trying to make an intelligent decision on which speed controller to buy read this. But if anyone reads this thread from the beginning they will see there's only about 2 or 3 that have anything negative to say about it their points just don't make sense anyway.

I have a suggestion for a new thread: CRAPS' UNOFFICIAL NOVAK THREAD... moderated only by BMAG!

J/k Craps, don't take too much offense! We're only playing. But I'm looking forward to the MM/GTB Shootout this summer! WHO'S COMING WITH ME!!?!??!
