Glassdoctor,

I just made the downpayment and am on the waiting list. If I e-mail Caster can i find out how far down the list I am or tentative delivery dates?

I will probably miss about half of this years outdoor season before it is ready; however we have some special events this fall that I would love to have it ready to run.

We can keep you updated, for sure. Right now we just don't have a good enough idea to give out a date. It's "very close" according to the factory and if everything checks out ok, we can get it to you very quickly. I certainly think we can get you going before half the season is gone... I will be and if that happens!!!

I hope to have a sample showing up very soon, and at that point we should have a better idea what to expect.

Latest info from Caster gives me the idea that we are looking at 6-8 weeks to have production cars for our customers.

Keep in mind things may happen a little sooner if things go really smooth.

I'm expecting a pre-production car later this month, and I will release any new info when it's available.

Thanks for the feedback. I had started converting a Hyper 7 but I will wait for the Caster. I planned on running two Orion 4800 Lipos and the configuration of this buggy looks perfect.

I will kick back and run my off road 1/10 buggy (Sat), rock crawler (Sun), and Losi Mini Slider (Tue) while I wait. I have enough to keep me busy while I wait.

That car looks nice. The only thing that would probably prevent me from jumping on it is that I would need 2s lipos and I have already invested in a number of single 4s packs.

It would work for me as I purchased a set of 2S so I could use them in the 1/8 and my 1/10 rigs.
