MikeL is the man, my car wouldn't have a motor in it otherwise. He'll have his turn at the helm next friday at Real R/C. I'll get the measurements requested, like Mike sais it is pre-production so things might change.

I'll also have some gearing information, run times, and motor temps for after saturday.

So what's for lunch Mike?

I got a chance to run David's buggy last night.......wow that thing is fun to drive. People were lining up to watch it drive, it was so smooth and quick. Thats the first time ive put an electric 1/8 scale on a track and it really suprised me. The car felt great and the system ran flawlessly. I would definitely recommend giving one of these cars a try. I would have like to have gotten even more runtime then I did, but I spent most of my time answering questions and letting people look at the car. lol I think once people start putting these things on the track they are going to develop a pretty big following. Thats the most fun Ive had on a track in a while. Thanks Dave for trusting me to take it out.

P.S. Can I borrow it again for next week??

In case anyone cares. After all that, Jason did in fact break a plastic linkage end and cracked the wing. He also broke the spektrum receiver and had to call the day short. It definitely proves that Caster is tough as nails and here to stay.

I want to congratulate Glassdoctor and Camshaft for designing a great product and Mikey Chen for stepping up and making everything to at least the same level as Losi, Mugen, Xray, and AE.

and yes, I fully understand what I just said.... sort of fun turning a product around.....and we have done it.

Well guys,I picked up a pretty sweet deal on some brand new Trakpower 3S 4900mah battery packs, so i now need a buggy to use them in.

Anyone got some suggestions??

By the way, how tall of a pack can the stock battery strap holddowns take?

I read that a Neu 1515 fits, how has wire placement been? Looking to try the teknorc motor line.

Lastly, anyone out there try to make some graphite shock towers for the buggy and other graphite components or know of some that will work? wouldn't mind shedding a few grams of weight where I can.
