Cain...Did you see the pics in this POST?

I'm sure you probably did. But just to give you an idea, that setup has the Mamba Max between the battery trays. For the guys running the Monster it seems best to put your receiver between the batteries, and then put the speed control on the radio tray up front. In all honesty having the speed control in the upper right corner is probably the better setup in regard to balance.

I'll see what I can do to get pics of a setup this style.

Great. If you have the chance, can you please post how much your vehicle weights in at with all the running gear on board, and without the battery packs?

ADDENDUM for optional electronics placement. Follow this picture instead of actual directions depending on what esc you have. Balance is 100% correct, esc mount is more solid, easier access to batteries. This installation was temporary just to show a visual reference.

I just got mine yesterday, gotta get a Castle monster in it. But I do have to say this is a really nice car down to every detail.

I agree. I just got mine today. Just ordered a Mamba Monster esc and Medusa Brushless motor! Now I wait

Any of you noticed that you have to unscrew the pivot balls just like on the ZX1-R to prevent binging of the front axles in the diffs? They are screwed all the way in. Just a heads up.

It was just factory grease in front and rear diffs, and factory oil in the shocks.
Factory oil in the shocks? Mine came bone dry. I thought something was wrong at first but not a drop in them. Any body got pics of the diff gears. I have not gotten into mine yet but they are supposed to have the new drivetrain in them.

All gears are new. I put 5000/7000/3000 Fusion fluids in the diffs. I also used 50 up front and 40 rear also Fusion fluids. Absolute dream to drive.
